Thurmond Lake Power Squadron presents: Decorated Boat Parade and Festivities

1st Annual Thurmond Lake 4th of July Boat Parade

Beginning at 10:30 a.m. on July 4th, decorated boats from local marinas (Savannah Lakes Marina, Soap Creek Marina, Parksdale Marina, Plum Branch Marina, Hayes Marine) will begin passing by the Dorn Fishing Facility review stand. Boats will be judged and trophies will be awarded.

Bring your family and friends and join us for the winner’s presentation and celebration party on the Savannah Lakes Marina Beach. Entertainment, Hot dogs and chips will be provided.

To register your boat for this event or for more information, please go to www.tlsps.org. Boat decorations should stay within the 4th of July theme and be sturdy enough to withstand cruising the lake around 6 knots.

This event is brought to you by the Thurmond Lake Sail & Power Squadron…joining with the McCormick Chamber of Commerce for Thunder over Thurmond Week.
