PADDLING ADVENTURES!
The Little River Blueway is a paddle lovers paradise... With 51 miles of diverse and scenic water trails over 5 main routes and 23 contigous sections, the blueway offers easy access to explore the protected land and waterways. The northern river sections of the paddling routes are completely buffered by National Forest land, allowing you to be completely enfolded by the forest and wildlife. Lower sections along the Little River and open water sections on Lake Thurmond are buffered by USACE lands, offering numerous coves to explore and waterfront camping at USACE parks. Central to all of these routes is Baker Creek State Park, which we call “Blueway Base Camp.”
